Class Styles & Dress Codes
Ballet/Pointe
Ballet is the core fundamental of most technical dance genres. This style focuses on proper placement, execution of lines, discipline, and a graceful aesthetic. When ready the dancer progresses to the Pointe shoe. Pink Tights, Black leotard, Canvas split sole ballet shoes, and hair in bun required. Pointe shoes discussed with instructor when ready.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop is high energy, upbeat, and rhythmic. There are many styles within this genre. Many dancers have a lot of fun during this class as the combinations are often to current pop music. Any athletic wear is allowed. Please wear clean street shoes. Hair pulled back off face.
Combination Class
This class is for our beginning dancers ages 3-6 who want to be introduced to different dance forms. Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Acrobatics are worked on in combination classes. Black or light pink Leotard and pink convertible tights please. Tutus and or skirts welcome. Hair bows welcome. Pink Ballet shoe as well as Black Tap shoes needed. Hair pulled back off face.
Tiny Tot Dance & Tumblers
This class is for our youngest dancers ages 2-4 to introduce them to creative movement, dance, stretch, tumble building coordination and a love for dance. Must be potty trained.Black or light pink Leotard and pink convertible tights please. Tutus and or skirts welcome. Hair bows welcome. Pink Ballet shoe as well as Black Tap shoes needed. Hair pulled back off face.

Contemporary
Contemporary is often danced to more emotional or abstract music. This style utilizes a strong technical base while developing artistry and musicality. ANy color Leotard or crop top with black dance shorts or leggings. Hair cleanly pulled back off face. Twylas or barefeet depending on instructors request. Black or tan mid ankle socks are often used.
Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre highly utilizes a dancers performance ability. It stems from Broadway and is often danced to music from Broadway musicals or plays. Any color Leotard or crop top with black dance shorts or leggings. Hair cleanly pulled back off face. Canvas Tan Jazz split shoe.
Acrobatics
Acro class builds flexibility, strength , and conditioning. This is a fun class where students can learn to execute tumbling passes , balancing moves, and contortion. Any color Leotard or crop top with dance shorts or leggings. No shoes. Hair cleanly pulled back off face.
Lyrical
Lyrical focuses on fluidity, grace, technique, and expansive well transitioned movement. The dancer expresses the lyrics of the song through their dancing. Any color Leotard or crop top with dance shorts or leggings. Twylas. Hair cleanly pulled back off face.

Jazz
This class utilizes fundamental progressions to build a dancers transitional work. Dancers learn to move and travel through space dancing to fun and up beat music working on their musicality. Any color Leotard or crop top with dance shorts or leggings. Canvas tan split sole Jazz shoes required. Hair cleaned pulled back off face.
Turns & Leaps
Turns and leaps is dedicated to enhancing the correct position, placement and execution of all fundamental and cutting edge turns and leaps. Any colorLeotard or crop top with dance shorts or leggings. Twylas or Canvas Split sole Jazz shoes. Hair cleanly Pulled back off face.
Deep Stretch & Conditioning
This class uses a set of tools given by the instructor to highly develop and focus solely on building and elongating muscles used while dancing. Many techniques are incorporated to enhance balance and stamina. Any color Leotard or crop top and dance shorts or leggings. Bare feet or clean street shoes depending on instructors request. Hair pulled back cleanly off face. Required tools for this class will be emailed the first week.
Tap
For this class full sole Black tap shoes are required. Tap is the most rhythmic dance form as the feet are used as a musical instrument. Syncopation, musicality and team work are developed in this genre. Any color Leotard and crop top required with dance shorts or leggings. Socks are sometimes preferred with shoes. Hair pulled cleanly back off face.
Aerial Arts
Aerial class uses the silk/ Hammock/ and lyra apparatus. This class develops strength, conditioning, and flow on the silks. Any color Leotard and leggings and/or tights required. Please bring a form fitting shirt as well. Bare feet. Hair pulled back off face.
Modern
This class focuses on the dancer being organic and grounded. Using proper spine placement and the connective tissue between flow and breath. Black leotard and Black tights required. Bare foot. Hair pulled back in bun.
